Permitted development granted for period property in North East Derbyshire

A lawful development certificate has just been awared for permission to build a rear extension on this period property in Ashover, North East Derbyshire.

The dwelling is a detached stone-built dwelling that has been extended to the rear with a single storey glazed extension.

It is proposed to replace the glazing and re-roof the existing single storey extension and extend further to the west by 6000mm. The overall extension would have dimensions of 10440mm x 1490mm and will have a mono pitched roof to the height of 2933mm sloping to eaves height 2265mm.

The internal arrangement is also to be reconfigured, including structural work to enable larger open plan living spaces.
