Planning granted for Derbyshire Eco-Home

Our design for a new build family Eco-Home has been granted planning permission with work due to start on site in 2022.

The home benefits from solar gain from the sun with the South facing wall containing most of the glazing. This absorbs the heat which is then stored within the building's thermally massive floor and wall construction.

The walls and roof will be packed with high performance insulation, windows tripple glazed, PV panels to the roof and underfloor heating to the floor. Overheating is prevented with overhangs which created built-in balconies for two of the bedrooms.
