Sustainable Masterplan in China

A masterplan for a new Eco Village in China. Although a high density masterplan, requiring vehicular access, the idea was to create a rural, informal layout of houses, interrupted by communal allotments, a permaculture system and earthy tracks. Houses emerge out of the ground with sedum roofs, visually creating a gentle wave like appearance to minimise visual intrusion on the site. Worked on for ZEDFactory Ltd.
