A Subterranean Home
Design for a subterranean house partially embedded in the natural topography of the site. These images are initial studies to demonstrate how the house sits within the landscape. Internally rooms are dug into the earth, providing a larger floor plan than the exterior dimensions of the house would lead you to believe.
Anna has helped me with several projects and I have found her responsive, professional and understanding. I love Manning Holden's work and especially the fact that their great designs also seem very practical. Couldn't recommend thrm highly enough.
